Thank you for joining us in Brisbane and the 2026 ANZSO Conference, held August 18-21. Welcome back to those who participated in the 2016 (then) SSA annual scientific meeting held at the same venue.

The conference was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC), in the heart of Brisbane. It catered to all involved in the field of stroke in Australia and New Zealand including clinicians, researchers, consumers and industry. All were welcome to participate in our various activities including workshops, plenary and platform presentations and poster sessions.

The BCEC is in Brisbane’s South Bank region, adjacent to the Queensland Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art, the Queensland Museum and the Queensland Performing Arts Complex. New footbridges connect the region to the CBD for more entertainment options to keep you busy before and after the conference.
