
Dr Liam Johnson
Dr Liam Johnson is a Senior Lecturer at Australian Catholic University and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on exercise-based strategies to support stroke recovery and developing enriched models of post-stroke rehabilitation. He co-led Australia’s first physical activity clinical practice guideline for people with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury and now leads its implementation through a cluster randomised controlled trial. His work bridges clinical research and health service implementation, emphasising evidence-based, person-centred approaches to improve recovery outcomes.
