
William Kokay
William Kokay is a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, where he focuses on post-stroke sexuality. His research specifically explores the impact of stroke on sexuality in LGBTIQ+ stroke survivors and their partners, with particular interest in patient-cantered care and inclusive rehabilitation practices. William has published two peer-reviewed papers, with additional work currently under review, and has presented work at the rehabilitation medicine society of Australia and New Zealand and the Asia pacific stroke conference. He is also involved in collaborations with the national stroke conference around the improvement and implementation of stroke resources and aims to improve equitable, holistic recovery outcomes. Outside academia, William works as a Social Worker in the field of neurology.
